Thats not what I meant. The philosophy of the tutorial is to keep
your modifications separate from the Jetspeed source tree (and of
course deployment).
When a new release comes out, you use the plugin to build with the
new version in the same manner as the previous version
The process merges your customizations with the core Jetspeed
project, giving you a custom result
The application that I got from our portal vendor didn't include
source... is there a way to tell what version of Jetspeed-1 I have?
I am guessing 1.5, but I'm not positive... I only got a bunch of
jars. I've seen some bugs that should have been already fixed
(according to the mail list), so it may be pre-1.5.
Not a good situation. Did you try asking your vendor?
In the JetspeedResources.properties, there is a "jetspeed.version"
property
