No, there are some changes.

The changes are not really big, although the list on the migration guide might
seem long.
It mostly involves relaxing some indexes, some minor column changes and
additions, and now explicitly named foreign keys.
It definitely shouldn't cause problems for existing data.
We don't have any concrete "upgrade" scripts available, but if you write them
and are willing to share them they would be welcome of course ;)
