Hi Erik,
We are using:
FileItemFactory factory = new DiskFileItemFactory();
PortletFileUpload upload = new PortletFileUpload(factory);
items = upload.parseRequest(request);
So PortletFileUpload instead of your DiskFileUpload, maybe it helps.
