Hi Anil
It is simple, but not that intuitive:
- Log in as administrator. The user name and password are in the install
documentation (admin/admin I think)
- Click on the small edit page layout icon that will have appeared near the
top right of the page. When the page re-displays it will be in edit mode.
(be patient - can be a tad slow the first time)
- Type in a page name in the appropriate page name box. Click add page. A
new tab with your page name should appear in the page selection bar.
(Alternatively, New Folder will add a page to the menu at left)
- Put the main page back into view mode by clicking the same icon (It will
have changed to a view icon)
- Click the new tab and when it shows, click the edit page layout icon.
- Click the Add Portlets button to add portlets. You can set the count of a
portlet to > 1 if you want multiple instances on your page
- Click the green arrow to return to the page and see your handiwork.
I'm typing this from memory, so there may be a few innaccuracies... Good
luck!
Regards
Ron

Subject: how to create new page/folder
I have been trying to figure out how to add a page to jetspeed and haven't
had much luck yet.
Is there a way to add a page without having to deploy theentire portal
app. I tried following the jetspeed tutorial but could not find the
JetspeedTutorial folder - it was not in the source distribution of
jetspeed either.
can somebody please point me in the right direction?
I appreciate your help.
Thanks
Anil
