I am not so good at jetspeed, but I am also in the learning curve.
Jetspeed ships with its own login module implementation. To overrride this
configuration you need write you own login.conf file which specifies login
module implementation that comes with your weblogic server.
The location of the login.conf file must be in your project class path and
you need to supply the location reference for the spring beans in the
securityprovider.xml bla bla.....
It is specified clearly in the following page.
http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-2/multiproject/jetspeed-security/login-module.html
This site is down now, but you can use google's cached pages to check the
info.
Hope this helps.
Pradeep.

Subject: Jetspeed Security
Is it possible to configure jetspeed to use the underlying containers
security (login module) instead of its own.
What I mean by that is -->
I have the underlying container as WebLogic. I have configured the users
and roles etc in WebLogic.
Is it possible to use the roles and users defined in WebLogic ( which are
used by WebLogic) instead of defining it the way Jetspeed wants it ?
Any help or inputs will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Prateek
