I've developed a portal using spring portal mvc and jetspeed as the portal server.
We have a forgot password page wherein we request the user to keyin the user id (which is email address) and a mail with the link to reset password will be sent to user. In the portal page , same message will be displayed saying 'an email is sent to you , please follow the link in email to reset password'. User didn't close this window. Now he checks his email, and then follows the link for reset password, and changes his password. Then a message saying your password is reset, please click the below link to explore the portal will be displayed with the login page url. When the user clicks on the above login page url, it suppose to go to login page but it displays the page with the message 'an email is sent to you , please follow the link in email to reset password' which was displayed originally when he tried to reset the password. i'm expecting to see the login page but the page in session is displayed instead. How to resolve this issue? PLease help. If you need anymore info, please let me know.
