After the 2.2.1 release, I took a much needed break from the project, and worked on some other areas of interest in my career. The 2.2.2 release was largely done during late nights of Woonsan and I's off hours time, but still, there are some new features in it like Solr integration for the Jetspeed Search service, and the much needed portlet cloning feature. JS2-1274 would be one good reason to release 2.2.3 as a maintenance release.
