- No it doesn't require JDK 1.2 and Servlet 2.1
- Yes you can use it with JServ.

Note however that if you do use it with JServe you ar obligated to write
instructions :).  So I am trying to get behind Jakarta 100% and want to
support this project as much as I can.  I doesn't use any APIs from >
JSDK 2.0 so it should be ok.
