Drum roll please ... :)
Jetspeed 1.0 RC1 is now in CVS. The revision is "jetspeed1_0rc1" and
can be obtained with a:
"cvs checkout -r jetspeed1_0rc1 jetspeed"
Basically a lot stability has been added:
- updated docs (http://relativity.yi.org/jetspeed/site/overview.html)
- latest version of turbine
- better logging
- Cocoon 1.7
- Better default config
All the artwork didn't make it into this version. Maybe the next one.
If someone will bang on it and give me feedback I would appreciate it.
If everything goes well we could have a release by Wednesday. If you
want to get anything in by 1.0 then now is the time to get it done.
I have a lot of ideas of where I want to take 1.1 and will probably send
off an e-mail detailing future changes. My home portal
(http://relativity.yi.org) is running with a custom Jetspeed 1.0/1.1 and
I want to roll these features back into the core. If anyone is
interested see ./docs/misc/TODO.
