I have the same EXACT question. I have just sent the past 2 days trying
to get JetSpeed up and running and now it appears that I must have some
type of SQL database to authenticate users although the installation
docs say nothing about it. While this is not a problem it would have
been helpful if the bit about databases was listed as one of the
"requirements". And Steve is right, if it's required, it would be mighty
handy to have documentation on how to do it and what fields are required
in the tables. From the installation docs, there isn't even a mention of
it. From what I have seen of JetSpeed so far, it looks REALLY cool and I
would love to use it. But I can't login to JetSpeed on my own system
because I have no idea of how JetSpeed is perfoming authentication. Do I
need a database? Can I use a regular user login? Any help would be
greatly appriciated. And Steve, if you want any help writing those docs
for "dummies", I would be more than willing to help. This project is too
cool to have a lack of documentation. Thanks.
