Use a proxy? JDK 1.2.2 (don't know about UNIX) can setup to use a
Proxy.

Nope.
"JetSpeedResources.properties" or "JetspeedResources.properties". It is
a new file in Jetspeed 1.1

It is a "directory" so d:\tmp\JetspeedDocumentCache
