Hello Fellow Jetspeeders and Happy Easter (to those celebrating),

I have an update on the iCalendar status. I have been successful saving,
retrieving, and updating most of the fields in the VEvent and VToDo
objects.

There is a catch, however, the code had some issues in Village which kept
it from running at first. First off, there was some sort of issue with the
Jetspeed lib version of village that mysteriously vanished when I ran
the current CVS version of Village.

Secondly, There is, i believe, an issue in village in determining null
field values. A patch exists on my machine which fixes the problem I
observed.

I am going to fire off an email to the Village list to get the problem
looked at over there, but first I have to get some test programs written
to reproduce the problem in a simpler piece of code.

So with all that being said, it could be a few days before the rest of the
world is able to reproduce my success with database persistence.

In the meantime, I will be diligently working on tying in our objects to
Castor XML!!!!
