Yes.  This needs to go too, Sandy.  If there are any more features you
need that aren't in OPaL you should move the code there.

This was another thing that we have talked about.  We need to start
Project moving towards becoming a standard part of Jetspeed.  As it
currently is the code sticks out like a sore thumb.  It is *not*
integrated at all.  I keep seeing features added (a feature was just
added to the abstraction mechanism) but I don't see steps being taken
towards migrating this towards a solid code base.

-1 on going down this path.  The top priority for Project right now
should be to bring it inline with the rest of Jetspeed.  This includes
using Turbine's features, ECS/XSP, etc, using our connection pool.  If
you don't want to do this and only want to work on features then maybe
Project should not be part of Jetspeed.

Initially I was under the impression that you were up for making the
changes.  But 6 months later I don't see any progress down this goal.
