Slash, backslash does sound like a culprit. Both complaints that I've seen
on the list are Windows platform problems. I am, after all developing on
NT.
There does seem to also be a double caching problem as well.
Also. fixing the problem that Christan mentioned does not address my
problem. It happens in other places in the code. I'll try fixing it and
eventually try out stuff from CVS.

I have installed :
Win98
Jetspeed1.1
Apache 1.3.12
Jserv 1.1
Every time i start jetspeed with http://localhost/test/jetspeed i get an
error:
Error:
CocoonPortlet: Could not use the following URL:
http://127.0.0.1:80/content/dynamic/index.xml
/d:/temp/JetspeedDocumentCache\file..d....temp.JetspeedDocumentCache\http..1
27....0....0....1......80..content..dynamic..index....xml (Der angegebene
Pfad wurde nicht gefunden)
Exception: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/d:/temp/JetspeedDocumentCache\file..d....temp.JetspeedDocumentCache\http..1
27....0....0....1......80..content..dynamic..index....xml (Der angegebene
Pfad wurde nicht gefunden)
I don't know if this is a configuration error or a bug. I guess it has
something to do with the slash/back slash written url.
Thanks in advance and have a good week end
