Well I mainly use HyperSonic on my dev computer (NT4 laptop) :)
I also sometimes try the engine with Personal Oracle 8i (download form
oracele but you're better off getting a CD), Informix server 2000 (download
from intraware) and Mysql (on an Unix box).
DB2 is also available from IBM for free with a 1 developer license.
