It depends on how you have installed Jetspeed:
If you are using a generic install of Tomcat, and you place the Jetspeed
content folder in the /webapps/ROOT folder, the URL would be
http:\\localhost:8080\servlet\jetspeed.
If you are going through Apache with Tomcat or JServ supporting the servlet
engine, the URL would be simply http:\\localhost\servlet\jetspeed (without
the :8080 port number)
Note that all this is configurable within Tomcat / Apache /
JetspeedResources / TurbineResources. So if this URL does not work, you will
need to follow-up with some installation information.
What servlet server are you using?
Where did you put the /content folder?
What did you change in the .properties files?...
