The problem is that Jetspeed uses Jyve to create the users in the database.
But, Jyve does not support Oracle at the moment.  There has been some action
on the Jyve list lately about Oracle, but I have not had the time to
download the latest CVS and see if the problems are fixed.

I got the very same problem using an Oracle 8.1.5 database for the backend,
and nothing has indeed reached the database.
Any help anybody?
