You don't seem to be using the Servelet API 2.2, which probably means
you must have an older JSDK referenced in your classpath before servlet_2_2.jar.
Make sure to clean your classpath and check that you don't have JSDK jars in
your JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext.
