The instructions are contained in
HypersonicSQL_users_roles_permissions.sql. Just 'less' the file and it
gives you a step by step that worked perfectly for me. You will need to
go to the hypersonic web site to download the DatabaseManager. It seems
to be written with Windows in mind (run.bat and no run.sh...,) but it
works fine under Linux with JDK 1.2.2. They hypersonic jar is already
included with jetspeed. Wasn't that nice. :-)
