Hi -

I asked this one on Friday and didn't get a reply -- or maybe I did and I
missed the answer because my subscription to the list was a little slow in
activating.

Please help...

I have installed Jetspeed and Turbine (last downloadable release, not the
CVS tips) running with Apache + Tomcat and MySQL.

That all seems to work correctly. I can bring up the portal page, see the
stuff, edit the defaultPortlets.xml file and change what is displayed on the
initial page. So far, so good. I enabled the user authorization flag in
the JetspeedResources.properties file and now I can go to the login screen
and type in my name and password. I created the Turbine tables in MySQL and
installed the MySQL jdbc driver for Turbine. Jetspeed now correctly checks
the MySQL database and denies access (I don't have a user added to the
Turbine tables in MySQL, so it should deny access) without throwing any SQL
errors. Looks happy.

BUT

My login page is still different than Kevin's demo Jetspeed site. I don't
see either a "Customise" link or a "Create account" link. How do I enable
those links for my site, so that new users can log in and create accounts?

Please help me understand what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks much,

   --- Mack ---
