Christian,

Yes we will be looking into a system for updating the distribution, as well
as hosting it on faster websites and everything. As for your problem I have
noticed weird behaviors most of the time when there was variables like
TOMCAT_HOME or such that pointed to another distribution of the tools we
package.

We will be releasing new versions at the latest at ApacheCon that will allow
more flexibility in the installation process.

As for the lacking docs, yes, I know, we will be putting some online as well
as a more centralized home for this product on the page. We are currently a
little behind schedule (who isn't :)) on these issues and will be working
towards offering a more comprehensive support structure.

Cheers,

        Serge Huber.

Serge,

you really should provide a way to upgrade to new releases of your platform
that does not require one to download 13 Megs each time. I tried the first
issue of your portal server, and was not able to get it to run (I am *not*
a newbie to Tomcat, Jetspeed, etc.). It throws exceptions at me on startup,
and docs are completely missing.

regards

BTW, Here's the exception I get:
