OK to answer my question I just asked
The jetspeed applications that use the Cocoon portlet
don't work using linux jdk1.3.
I just found this mentioned in the mailing list archives about the jdk1.3
beta.
switched back to jdk1.2.2 and for the 1st time got jetspeed to run
completely.
Damn thats annoying lost a nights sleep over this.
I can finally start work!
Anyone got any idea why this is happening?
It seems to parse file urls differently.
An error in jetspeed or the jdk itself?
