Portlet API

One thought about the requiring portlets to deliver a data stream.  I 
totally agree that it is  a necessity, but how about making an attribute of 
isTransformable or something, because some portlets are only going to be 
able to receive only marginally formed HTML from its sources, and forcing 
them to be able to figure out a transformation out of it would be a joke.
