I have a list of queries for you.
1. After i completed the installation of jetspeed i tried running the
sample servlet that has been provided. It logged the following error in the
log file.
a. Portlet could not be loaded invalid host name
http://www.xmlhack.com/
The internet connection was on and the proxy connections were set
correctly.
2. I have a valid jetspeed accountid with me. so i tried going to the
site "http://relativity.yi.org/servlet/jetspeed" and tried to make my
customised screen. It gave me error saying "event not defined. do you wish to
debug i said no and it didnot creep any more. then when i logged in the next
time i didnot get
my customised screen. What could be the reason?
3. In the sample portlets there are options to maximise, edit the
portlet? Is it possible to delete the portlet?
4. Is there some database that stores the user propfile? or is it
something else. Do i have to manipulate the jetspeed property page for every
new
loginid.
5. Can i get some good documentation on jetspeed, not just how to create
portlets but more than there might be question which are at the elementary
level but since i
donot have any documentation iam not able to figure out how i can use it for
custromisation. Pl do respond immediately.
