I just restored the code which was "working" before the branch merge. I didn't
do any in depth fixing so go ahead if you're working on a full fix.
Anyway, I think Santiago volunteered to coordinate the clean-up/fixing
process for the 1.2 release. Now that I moved the init code away from
the layout, I'll implement the templating system into Jetspeed and won't
have a lot of time for general bug fixing.
