Yes, I am working on a Profiler proposal to do exactly that.
The profiler looks at the incoming requests, and based on the user and
capabilities, tries to return a resource for the a PSML target. I was just
discussing with Thomas how groups or roles should be mapped to a user. We
came to the same conclusion, that a role should be provided by the user
object.
Look for the Profiler proposal on this mailing list tomorrow.
