I will look at that. Currently, Writers are implemented using HTTP PUT, so only
HTTP URLs are writable. I have not investigated file: urls WRT writing.
P.S. Just landed in the office after a trip. STOP. Catching on email. STOP. The
new Disk Cache implementation should be commited soon. FULL STOP. :-)
