I've just tagged the source code tree in the jetspeed release branch,
so you can consider that we are now in code freeze.
If you want to check out the state of CVS at the freeze, use the
tag RELEASE_1_3a1_GOLD.
>From now on, there may only be 3 activites on the CVS tree :
- update/fix the documentation and FAQ
- update/fix the document set and default examples
- write the release notes and known issues document
I plan to roll-out the release tomorrow evening (~ 20:00 GMT) unless
a glaring problem arises.
David, can you confirm the status of the documentation and site
and whether you need help to keep the release date ?
I've added some new tasks in the TODO-RELEASE file, some of which
are non attributed.
Among the open tasks everybody can do in parallel are:
- testing on different server configurations even though Tomcat
will be our reference platform.
- proof reading the documentation to fix typos and maybe clarify
some dfficult or unclear points
