Just a thought...  I'm no expert with turbine..

Have you tried editing your
tomcat/webapps/jetspeed/WEB-INF/conf/TurbineResources.properties file?

There is a line to put your outgoing SMTP mail server address.

I have just installed the latest 1.3a WAR installation (Great job! Installed
in less than 5-minutes!)

I am trying to setup the email secret-key using a mail server on my network
other than localhost. I do not get the email. I cannot find any mention of
the attempt in any of the log files. How should I begin to troubleshoot this
feature? (I have already verified that the Linux machine running Jetspeed is
able to send emails through my qmail server using the mail-client - it is
just jetspeed which is not getting the emails through.)
