Im +1 for it, thats why I checked it in.

I wrote a WebPagePortlet a while back, and I've been using it on several of
our demo and internal sites.
I never committed since in my mind it was incomplete:
I was planning on collaborating with Marcus Schwarz, who had a more complete
solution, but did not use an html parser, but he seems to have disappeared
from Jetspeed recently.

I am still using this portlet in my project.
It is valuable for us to aggregate other web pages, such as other
departments, vendors, etc...
Sometimes a simple link is good enough, but often it is not since the
referenced web page may have multiple links on it, or dynamic content which
we don't have access to directly.

The real problem I see is that there are so many complications to the
process. Marcus had most of them figured out. He also rewrote the links to
point back to the portal site, so that the entire site could be hosted
inside a 'portal window', not just the opening page.
They could run an entire Amazon ordering transaction inside a Jetspeed
portlet.

I believe it fits an obvious general need, but its difficult to say whether
it will be used on 'every Jetspeed site out there'.
A lot of people on the mailing list have shown an interest in this feature.

Anyway, of course I can always remove it from the cvs. I just wanted to let
people easily try it out.
