Would it handle un-mangling when posting or getting back to the server?
It is not as simple as it looks. Raphaël way looks better to me, as it
will manage also parameter isolation between portlets.
If I click in a link that says .../pa/3 (mangled from .../pane/Slashdot
generated by jetspeed ) I need that the URL arriving to Turbine is
.../pane/Slashdot, to be processed back.
BTW, the solution proposed by Thomas requires post-processing of
generated output, as most of the URLs needing mangling are generated by
the different portlets or portletControl/lers. (See Secure Portlet
thread). This is one more reason why I feel that we need to provide
these hooks in the API.
