There was the idea of having the next alpha release (1.3a2) before
ApacheCon (ApacheCon is from 4.4.-6.4).
This was some time ago however and I'm not sure if everybody is still
convinced of this date?
Some major changes are planned and stabilizing the code after that might
take time...

P.S.: There is a golden rule: "In open source, never rely on planned
release dates". I think everybody here works on this project in addition to
his daily work...
