David, Could you please capture the tcpdump (wireshark or similar) of a request from a problem client and Jetty's response, and open a ticket at http://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs for RT | Jetty project (if using Jetty 7) or http://jira.codehaus.org/ for JETTY project (if using Jetty 6) with description of the problem, and the tcpdump attached?
