The root cause of the changes is in the following: the latest released Equinox
version (3.7.1) doesn't support the latest released Jetty version (7.5.1). It
will be more convenient for us to use the same naming
('org.eclipse.equinox.http.jetty') for future upgrades.

that should be fine, if its generally useful you could help sort out what is
needed to make this a more official package but that should be fine
only think I question is the naming of the project unless your part of the
equinox project, you might want to name it something in your own package space
