Yes, it is supported out of the box in Java 8 (via JEP 114). Sean Mullan had a talk about this and the other new security features in Java 8 two days ago at JavaOne. The slides are available here: https://blogs.oracle.com/mullan/resource/CON7932_Mullan.pdf Looks pretty simple to use.
