Seems like there is some bug/problem in
org.eclipse.jetty.server.bio.SocketConnector (in 8.1.10), but I will not
dive more into it, since my problem with it is solved now (by changing
to SelectChannelConnector)

And the problem seems to disappear - with the above connector-config I
consistently get 2 secs response-time.
It is just that Solr seems to recommend
org.eclipse.jetty.server.bio.SocketConnector
