This would be a new report of such an issue. Do you use hot deployment / auto-reload features?
Also, can you upgrade? Jetty 9.0.5 is an old release of Jetty 9, back when the codebase was being transitioned to support Servlet 3.1 Lots (and I mean *LOTS*) of updates to Jetty since then. Between Jetty 9.0.5 and 9.2.3: * 1 year * 22 releases * 2,086 commits * 3,673 files changed (in git) * support for servlet 3.1 standard implemented / introduced / stablized * support for javax.servlet standard implemented / introduced / stabliized -- Joakim Erdfelt <[email protected]> webtide.com <http://www.webtide.com/> - intalio.com/jetty Expert advice, services and support from from the Jetty & CometD experts eclipse.org/jetty - cometd.org On Wed, Sep 17, 2014 at 7:27 AM, Rob Nikander <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I've got a problem where my Jetty process starts getting "too many open > files" exceptions and needs to be restarted.
