I asked: http://www.eclipse.org/jetty/documentation/current/startup-unix-service.html . $jetty.base/start.ini has jetty.http.port=80 but netstat shows nothing listening on port 80 I am somewhat confident that there are no file permission issues since a similar setup ran for 9.3.3 What should I be looking for?
Oops, sorry. I had missed the steps about adding to /etc/default/jetty All is well now. -- Robert A.
