Hi, The node id has been used for quite a while now in jetty session ids to increase likelihood that they are unique across nodes in the cluster. If you'd like to change that then I suggest that you subclass the Defaultsessionidmanager and override the I'd generation method.
The log lines you are seeing about the scavenger is just letting you know what the default settings are. If you want to change it then make a Housekeeper instance, set its scavenge interval, and set the Housekeeper onto the Defaultsessionidmanager. Things seems to be working fine but there are two things that bother me. I checked the embedding sample code but that did not give me any clues so if anyone can help me.: 1) All generated session IDs now start with 'node0'. I tried setNodeIdInSessionId(false) but that does not make the node0 prefix go away. How can I get rid of this? 2) When the server is started it logs No SessionScavenger set, using defaults Scavenging every 600000ms What does that mean? Do I need to do something about that? _______________________________________________ jetty-users mailing list [email protected] To change your delivery options, retrieve your password, or unsubscribe from this list, visit https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/jetty-users
