Now come hear Gerard Edery and his Ensemble perform their brilliant repertoire drawing on Sephardic and Middle Eastern traditions, as well as original compositions by Gerard Edery and oud virtuoso, George Mgrdichian. >From joyous hymns of celebration to poignant ballads of loss, from flamenco-inspired pieces to holy works of praise, the Ensemble's instrumental virtuosity and masterful arrangements create an unforgettable afternoon of music. Join us on the afternoon of Sunday, March 9 when The Village Temple pays tribute to valued members of its community with these extraordinary concerts at the beautiful new Center for  Jewish History (15 West 16th Street, off 5th Ave). There will be two 90-minute concerts, beginning at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. General admission tickets, per concert, are $20 for adults; $10 for children 12 and under. A Patron ticket package, which raises money for the Village Temple and will include a special reception, reserved seats and a Gerard Edery CD set, are $100 each.
