(IsraelNN.com) Yeedle Werdiger, son of renowned Chasidic singer
Mordechai Ben David (AKA MBD), has come out with a new album called Lev
Echad ("One Heart"). Yeedle has been working on this album for some
time already; his latest album came out a few years ago. In the
following video, Yoni Kempinski speaks with Yeedle on this week's
edition of Israeli Salad, the IsraelNN TV weekly magazine. "I'm very
picky when it comes to song selection," said Werdiger, explaining why
it took so long until he came out with another album. "It took me
probably four years to find all the material and, thank G-d, we're
finally here!" Regarding his most significant influence, his father,
Yeedle says: "I try to involve him as much as I can. When I got to my
final choices I... ran it by him and took 99.9 percent of his advice."
The video interview includes segments from a unique animation musical
clip featuring an animated Yeedle singing parts of the songs from the
new album.
