Checking in: I have taken the ornaments off, lights off, dragged the tree outside, vacuumed up all the pine needles and put the furniture back into it's preChristmas positions.
Wow, Elaine, you are a real go getter. Here's my progress report: All the ornaments are off and packed away and put back into the storage area till next year. The tree is down and waiting for dh to put it in the storage shed. It is too heavy for me. Speaking of dh---he has a friend over right now and they are sitting in the living room drinking coffee---so I have to wait a little bit on the vacuuming and putting the furniture back in place. In the meantime I am going to spend at least 20 minutes in each room, dusting, picking up and a quick vacuuming. Thursday is my day to do a general all through the house clean up. I also need to get back to my walking routine. So sometime this afternoon I will try to get out and go walk at least a mile. I kind of let that slip to the side during all the Christmas rush and all the rain rain rain we had been having. Now it is cold--cold--cold. In the low 20's which ! is very cold for central Louisiana. And we may even get a bit of the icy stuff tonight or tomorrow. I hope so. It is so rare here. But, for now it's on with the house cleaning.
