Mary,
Congratulations! You have really done a lot today and you got a good walk in too! That's great!
I know what you mean about wanting to call people and dare them to come see your house now! LOL
I also thank you for your challenge. If you had not asked for a challenge buddy last night to get the tree stuff down today I might have put it off another day. It really does help to have a challenge partner.
We are off to the store now to buy paint so we can get my son's room finished. We did the office half of it black a few weeks ago and now are going to do the bedroom side taupe tomorrow.

Subject: [JFC]: Thursday update/and Thanks to Elaine

Hi everyone,
I just had the nicest experience.  I just came back in from my walk, which turned into 2.4 miles (took 45 minutes to do).  Anyway, when I walked back into the house it  looked so nice.  All that hard work before Christmas and then the hard work all morning really paid off.  As I had planned, all the Christmas decor is gone, back into storage.  Every room got a going over.  Furniture dusted and polished, floors either vacuumed or swept, and a damp mop on the kitchen and bathroom floors. Beds all made, dishes all washed and put away.  I feel like calling up all the people who like to just drop by un-announced, and say "I dare you to come over now"<g>  Where are these people when everything is in tip top shape???  But, seriously, it felt good to come back into a really nice orderly house.  Now if there was some sort of magic wand to wave and make it all freeze in place----Nahhh! , that would be dull and boring.
And to Elaine, a special Thank You.  Just knowing someone else was working today gave me the spurt I needed to get going.  I think we both did good.
Love and hugs
Mary M. in La.
