Hi everyone,
From all the post, all of you have been very busy and have gotten a lot done.  Hmmm, have you ever thought about just how much all of our combined efforts accomplish each day.  While all of you were busy inside, I have been outside.  Most of Friday and Saturday were spent raking leaves.  I'd like to say I finished, but there is so much that it will take several more sessions to get it done.  The wind started blowing yesterday afternoon, so it was useless to continue.  It is a lot of hard work, but dh and I will shred all of them and then I will have all this lovely mulch to put in all the flower beds and that makes keeping them so much easier.
Besides the leaf raking, I also did the daily routines of bed making, dish washing, and laundry.  I squeezed in a little time last night to do a little painting, floral designs on candles.  Today was church, so after making beds, and breakfast, I picked up through the house, got dressed and was off to services.  Came home, heated up the leftovers from Sat. night  for lunch.  For the afternoon, I did my walk, went to visit ds, the youngest one (36 today).  After that, came home put music on and just relaxed until time to return to church service tonight.  It was a very enjoyable and relaxing day and I will be ready to get up and get going tomorrow morning.  Not sure right now what all I will do, but somebody around here is going to have to go to the supermarket---which will probably be you know who.  I am hoping to talk dh into doing that.  We live way out in the country, so to drive to! a supermarket of any size you are looking at 50 miles round trip.  Takes a big chunk out of a day.
I am not going to do this right now, but I am going to have to clean all the blinds.  I noticed while getting everything cleaned up for Christmas that they are all over due for a good cleaning.  Does anyone have any hints or tips on cleaning mini-blinds.  Also, other than calling in a professional (which I can't afford) what are some tips on cleaning fabric upholstery on furniture.  My sofa and love seat need attention bad.  The backs on both have this deep (very deep) tufting.  The worst part is the upper-back, where people's heads rub.  Thanks for any advice.
