Hi Sherry,

Congrats on the entertainment center project! Sounds like a lot of work!
As I was reading your post, I thought of two products that might be useful
to you. One I've owned myself for several years, so I can personally vouch
for its effectiveness, and one I just saw advertised on TV the other day.

Have you ever heard of the Rainbow vacuum cleaner? It's sold via home
demonstrations, like Tupperware. :-) It uses water as a filter, rather
than vacuum bags, and let me tell you, it's absolutely perfect for someone
with allergies! All that dust (and in my case, cat dander) stays in the
water tank, instead of leaking out from the bag or hose. It's pretty
expensive though, but my allergies were so bad that we decided it was worth
it. You can also get attachments for shampooing carpets (kind of like a
small steam cleaner).

The other product I just heard about is something called "Moving Men". It's
basically a set of four plastic disks that you put under the corners of a
large piece of furniture, and then you supposedly can just slide the
furniture around. They showed a woman moving a big old cabinet around
easily on their commercial, so that's why I thought of it when reading your
post. It's one of those "not available in any stores" kind of thing, so I
guess you have to watch for the commercial.

HTH's!!
Pam.
