Hello all Well what I planned for today had to take a 'back seat'. I got up this morning with a blinding headache and a very runny nose. I suffered my way through 'paid' work and came home not knowing whether to go to bed or eat something. I went to bed.
After an hours sleep I got up and had some lunch. It appears the 'flu' I managed to avoid for the last couple of weeks may of finally got me. I feel awful to say the least. After something to eat I went back to bed but was unable to sleep, I just couldn't get warm or comfortable so I got up and went into the 'office/computer/craft' room where there is a heater which I put on high. I got out a handful of recipes and began sorting. I got rid of a lot and greatly reduced the pile. I threw out all the recipes that contained a 'can' or a 'packet' or had things in them that we can't eat, things like peppers and chillies for me and cream for DH. Whilst I sorted I tried to think of an easier way to put all the remaining recipes into my recipe software than typing each one by hand. I have decided to use my scanner and scan the recipes that way I can 'screen import' them quite easily into my recipe software that I have. DH made our evening meal whilst I shivered over the heater upstairs. I have given up on the recipe sorting for now. My headache is gone probably due to the medicine DH insisted I have. I don't take medicine usually, but I couldn't muster the strength to argue. I am off to my bed now, DH has filled several hot water bottles for me. Maybe a good nights sleep will do me the power of good.
