Hi,
I was interested in hearing you talk about eBay.  When I started selling on eBay 2 years ago is when I lost control of my house!  I have collected too many things and there is not enough time to list them all.  As of now, I have lost my family room to eBay, boxes of things and packing items and I do try to keep it restricted to that room, but my computers are in my dining/living room and things seem to wander out there all the time.  My husband is a computer wizard and he has been designing a listing program for the past year, which is fine, but it takes away from his time to help me around the house.  I have made it a resolution to get rid of things before collecting more things to sell, but it didn't help when my husband's company dismantled a technical library and gave the old books to the employees as he collected about 300 books (which do well on eBay) but now I have an additional 300+ books in my family room.  I habe been working on clearing room in my basement to set up tables for all the packing items.  (Both of our parents died, leaving us with extra clutter.  The bad news is that they died several years ago and I am just now facing the additional clutter.)  So, I have my work cut out for me-but I AM determined!  Best of luck to you in decluttering and on eBay!

Subject: [JFC]: I've been getting organized, long

Hello everyone. I've been lurking a long time now. I was starting to get organized, but I slipped out of the habit and am working on it once again. Here's what I've been doing. My daughter and I buy used things to sell on ebay to make some extra household $$$, so I've been having her come over all this week to help me get organized, (she's very good at it and obviously didn't learn it from me) and in return, I've been giving her used stuff to sell on ebay. I'll just keep giving her stuff to sell, till it equals what I would have paid her. She's happy with it, and it sure helps me.

This week she has cleaned out my frontroom coat closet, hall cupboard and drawers, one bathroom cupboard, one dining room cupboard, and one half of my kitchen, including refrigerator. I think I will be able to keep up with it now.

I have been concentrating on paperwork while she does these things. I labeled ten boxes, gathered every piece of paperwork in my house, and sorted away. Now I am going thru each box and making folders and filing.
Whew!!

Thanks for listening!!
