Speaking of trucks, DH's just went out Monday. BIL came over today and helped him fix it (thankfully) but it cost $140.00! That may not sound much, but it was bill money. Told DH he gets to help me figure out how to stretch the rest!
Having a guest over really motivated me to clean. DD's had knocked over a whole box of packing peanuts and they were everywhere! Even clogged up the shop vac hose and had to take at least 1/2 hour to declog it. (Sigh) I'm sure there are still some lurking in the corners-yep, I just remembered behind the front door! DD's spent hours just complaining and shuffling them around. Good Grief! They could have picked them up two times over. (Remember this weekend you will be kid-free!) Can you tell I need a calgon (sp?) moment? And Sherry, I did dust! :-) But have not been in the junk room! It just overwhelms me to even open the door, oh well, bills first, then junk room. I still have today's dishes to finish. Even cleaned toilet (after BIL used it of course!) Eldest DD is so freaked out about him being here, but I told her she needs to help me clean. Thanks for listening, I am tired and just waiting for DD's to get to bed. 8:00 is a bit to early; at least until I get junk room converted, then the youngers can go to bed and elder can stay up a little longer.
