HI JFCers, I noticed what Maria said about de-cluttering, then having to stop and make a meal, causing more messes! I like using my slo-pot...empty a can of soup, add a can of water, shake a bag of frozen veggies into the soup, place the lid, heat it hot, stir it and then turn it down to simmer for the rest of the day. The result...a steaming hot meal for any one who is hungry, anytime! When I'm REALLY on a roll, I buy various meat cuts, broil them using tin foil pans, all at one time in the broiler or oven, freeze them and then add meats to the soups for a full meal. It seems easier for me to clean when it's a one-time shot at cooking, then heating up for the rest of the week for lunches or afterschool cups of soup. Anyone else like using slo-pots for easy meals? It seems to help me cut down on all the cooking clutter :) Amy B
