Hello all

I am finally making headway in here and making decisions that before I was
ready to.

I have just packed up my old mobile phone and sent it freepost to Oxfam,
they can get at least 5 for it even though it isn't a digital one.

I have also written to a company that recycles computers and printers about
the two printers and a modem that have been sitting in here for the last
year doing nothing. They work I just don't use them or need them. I was
keeping them in case the one I am using broke down and I needed a printer.
As DH said if that did happen and I needed one for paid work I would just go
out and buy one. As he pointed out I only use it for work, I don't print out
that much for my own use.

I flat packed the boxes that I have saved for mailing out stuff, they will
take up less space and now I have the proper tape to put them back together
there is no reason to store them in 3D.

I also clipped my craft magazines, I cut out what I wanted and threw the
rest away .... I still can't believe I did it to be honest LOL. I decided to
do it on a whim and went for it before I realised what I was doing. I have
the clippings already in a binder, categorised of course and a large empty
space to show for it.

I have had a good day decluttering wise and feel great.

The bags of clothes I put out on Monday have been collected, I did have the
wrong day, it was Wednesday collection not Monday as I thought, but I
couldn't bring the bags back in, no way!

I have even started another one, now that I can get to the wardrobe in here
which hasn't been opened in six months because I was storing printers and
boxes in front of it. I did intend finding them a proper home, but it just
never happened. Its true what they say about clutter being unmade decisions
LOL.

Maybe I can completely empty the wardrobe and get rid of it. I am trying to
fight the little voice inside that says 'its good storage space, keep it',
but I know me better than anyone, if I keep it I'll just have to find stuff
to put in it LOL

DH now has 6 applications for jobs in and four resumes/CVs sent to other
companies. He also went to a job fair this afternoon and got some more
leads, information and advice. Could be another late night although
hopefully he will wait until tomorrow now as he is relaxing with Lara Croft
on the play station LOL

Well I have a few things I want to get out of this room before I go to bed
so I better get to it

Talk to you soon

Louise
